Bard IVC Filters Products Liability Litigation, Court Order

This multidistrict litigation (“MDL”) involves more than 3,000 personal injury cases brought against Defendants C. R. Bard, Inc. and Bard Peripheral Vascular, Inc. (collectively, “Bard”). Bard manufactures and markets medical devices, including inferior vena cava (“IVC”) filters. Each Plaintiff received a Bard IVC filter implant and claims that the filter is defective and has caused Plaintiff to suffer serious injury or death.
